V-TAC Launches High Voltage Energy Storage Systems in UK, EU

London / 8 June 2023 – New renewables equipment manufacturer V-TAC is set to launch the VESS Mini and the VESS Mini Plus for utility-scale and industrial PV systems.

VESS Mini

The VESS Mini is a complete energy storage system designed with an intelligent monitoring system for remote analysis, troubleshooting, and basic monitoring. It will be available in 30K and 60K.

VESS Mini Plus

The VESS Mini Plus – available in 90K and 180K – is designed as an outdoor energy storage system with an IP54 rated enclosure and state-of-the-art thermal management.

• Scalable: flexible and can be easily paralleled (side-by-side or back-to-back)
• Fully-integrated battery modules, Power Conversion System (PCS), UPS, STS module, HVAC, Battery Management System (BMS), and Energy Management System (EMS) all in one storage
• Supports both on-grid and off-grid operations; optional PV input and backup module
• Global grid certified & listed PCS; compliance with global safety standards.
• IP54 rating for moisture and dust protection

For residential and systems with lower energy requirements, V-TAC offers a LiFePO4 battery with a storage capacity of 20 kWh and a rated voltage of 204.8 V. It has a DOD of 8000 cycles at 80%.
